# PayMe > PayMe is an Australian contractor payroll and salary packaging specialist for contractors placed by recruitment companies. PayMe runs the pay run, superannuation, salary packaging and payroll onboarding behind contract placements. The recruitment company remains the worker's employer. ## Key facts - Service: outsourced contractor payroll for Australian recruitment companies and the contractors they place. - Fee: PayMe payroll fees start from 1.20% of the payment received from the recruitment company for Paid When We Get Paid arrangements. Premium payroll services are available at other rates. No hidden charges, joining fees or exit fees. The fee includes eligible salary sacrificing and fee-free novated leasing through PayMe's sister company, Alliance Leasing. - Superannuation: super is calculated at the current 12% Super Guarantee rate in accordance with the applicable Payday Super qualifying earnings rules and paid with every pay, generally reaching the contractor's fund within 7 business days. The PayMe rate calculator lets contractors select 1.20%, 1.50%, 1.75% or a custom fee, then calculates superannuation at 12% of the remaining taxable wage. - Premium payroll: premium payroll services include an eligible same-day pay option. When an approved timesheet is submitted before the applicable cut-off, payment may be made that day, subject to eligibility. - Onboarding: usually completed the same business day the contract reaches PayMe. - Support: every contractor gets a named payroll contact, not a ticket queue. - Employment: contractors are engaged as casual labour-hire employees of their recruitment company. The recruitment contract is with that company; PayMe's agreement is formed through the join form once PayMe accepts the application. - Eligibility: PayMe pays workers who are employees of recruitment companies. PayMe does NOT onboard Pty Ltd entities or ABN contractors. - Pay cycle: follows the arrangement between PayMe and the recruitment company. - Payslips: a draft payslip is emailed for review before the payment is processed, a final payslip is emailed once payment has been made, and payslips can be downloaded from the Contractor Portal at any time. - Established: PayMe has specialised in contractor payroll since 2008 and works with contractors and recruitment companies across Australia. - Late payment: PayMe is not liable to pay net remuneration where the recruitment company has not paid PayMe, and keeps the contractor informed while chasing it. - Timesheets: submitted on the PayMe online portal, emailed to the PayMe timesheets inbox, or submitted through the recruitment company's own system where one exists. ## Services - Contractor payroll and pay runs - Superannuation optimisation, including concessional cap and carry-forward amounts - Salary sacrificing and salary packaging, kept ATO-compliant, with comparative payslips - Fee-free novated leasing through PayMe's sister company, Alliance Leasing (no leasing fees for PayMe contractors) - Corporate Benefits Program: gym, airport lounges, technology, health insurance, banking discounts - BankIT: income smoothing through the periods you're on holidays ## Pages - [Home](https://payme.com.au/): overview, pay estimate and positioning. - [About](https://payme.com.au/about): PayMe company background — Australian family-owned and veteran-owned, founded in 2008 by contractors, supporting Australian contractors and recruitment companies since then. - [How it works](https://payme.com.au/how-it-works): the three-step onboarding process. - [Calculators](https://payme.com.au/calculators): index of the PayMe contractor pay calculators. - [Contractor rate calculator](https://payme.com.au/contractor-rate-calculator): editable all-in contract rate calculator showing the PayMe fee, taxable wage and 12% super per hour or day, plus per-pay and annual totals. - [Salary packaging calculator / example payslip](https://payme.com.au/salary-packaging-calculator): side-by-side example payslips comparing take-home pay with and without salary sacrifice (additional super, work-related expenses including portable electronic devices, novated lease pre-tax and post-tax ECM), using the ATO PAYG withholding tax tables.
